The film is based on the audio of my precious grandma, who has lived a robust life for almost 100 years, including her war experiences since the early Showa period. The actual handwritten memo of her husband, my Grandpa Susumu, a miraculous survivor of the famous troops “Dragon corps”, a group of Kyushu boys who were crushed on the battlefield in Burma during the Pacific War, is also shown for the first time.

Discover the resilient way of life of Grandma Tsukie, a living witness to history. Due to her strong accent, subtitles are in standard language. (Only Japanese is available)
